Making Google Your Default Search Engine

If you do not enter a URL, but a term in the address bar of your browser, the search results of the default search engine are automatically called. Here’s how to set Google as the default search engine if you have another search set up. In Google Chrome, Firefox and other browsers, search queries only need to be entered in the address bar. The detour via the search engine home page is thus omitted. After entering the term, you will be automatically redirected to the search results in the preset search engine. This search may have been disrupted by adware, a default setting or an accidental change. Find out here how you can set Google as your default search engine again.
